Georgepires Tradesman, a leading handyman company based in Wandsworth, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to be part of a hands-on and fast-paced environment. The role will support both proactive maintenance planning as well as dealing with reactive maintenance requests to a high standard.
Requirements/skills needed:
- You must have at least a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A good understanding of basic building/maintenance trades
- Good self-motivation, problem solver and can multitask
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must have a driver's license
- Trade’s qualifications/experience preferred but not essential
Responsibilities:
- Basic carpentry, electrics, plumbing, woodwork, painting, etc.
- Assist senior tradesmen when required
- Perform routine and unplanned maintenance tasks around London where you will be assigned mainly to South West London areas but there may be jobs from West, SE, and South London area.
- Completing and submitting weekly report sheets as necessary
